Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) fans left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their football team run past the host Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC), 28-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Independence improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Patriots travel to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC) to confront the Mavericks in a non-league test on Thursday, August 25. The Mavericks go into the test with a record of 1-0. Marvin Ridge won 26-22 in their recent non-league test against Monroe (Monroe, NC)

With the loss, Robinson moves to 0-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to confront the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, August 25. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 1-0. Central Cabarrus won 21-15 in their recent non-league test against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC)
