In Thursday's non-league match, the host Richlands Wildcats football squad scored a good 50-34 victory over the South Brunswick Cougars.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 25. Richlands will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.

The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Midway (Dunn, NC). The Raiders enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Midway dropped by North Johnston (Kenly, NC), 1-0, in a non-league match.
