Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Garner Trojans (Garner, NC), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines face the Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 23. Wakefield will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Apex (Apex, NC).

The Trojans now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Millbrook for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 24.
