In Thursday's non-league contest, the Chaparral Wolverines (Parker, CO) softball team held off the host Eaglecrest Raptors (Centennial, CO), by a margin of 7-6.
With the triumph, Chaparral moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO) to play the Buffaloes in a non-league contest on Friday, August 19. The Buffaloes come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
