The Pinecrest Patriots held off the host Ashley Screaming Eagle volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Patriots now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Terry Sanford for a non-league test on Monday, August 22. Pinecrest will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
The Screaming Eagle (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Green Level (Cary, NC). The Gators enter the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Green Level held off Millbrook (Raleigh, NC), 2-1, in a non-league test.
