In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Sonoraville Phoenix volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Calhoun Yellow Jackets.
The Phoenix (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Gordon Central lost by Cass (White, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
