In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Chaparral Wolverines volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Eaglecrest Raptors.
The Wolverines (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Chatfield (Littleton, CO). The Chargers come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Chatfield was edged by Fruita Monument (Fruita, CO), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Raptors clash with the Columbine Rebels (Littleton, CO) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 25. Eaglecrest will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
