In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Delta Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Jay County Patriots.

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Tri-West Hendricks (Lizton, IN). The Bruins come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record.

Next, the Patriots clash with the Celina Bulldogs (Celina, OH) in a non-league battle, on Monday, August 22. Jay County will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
