In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Kentucky Country Day Bearcats soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the South Oldham Dragons.
The Bearcats (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Henderson County (Henderson, KY). The Colonels come into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Henderson County was tipped by McCracken County (Paducah, KY), 5-1, in a non-league test.
With the loss, South Oldham drops to 3-1 on the season. The Dragons travel to Butler (Louisville, KY) to meet the Bears in a non-league test on Saturday, August 20. The Bears come into the test with a record of 1-1. Butler 1-1 in their recent non-league test against Floyd Central (Floyds Knobs, IN)
