The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies (Colorado Springs, CO) and the host Sand Creek Scorpions (Colorado Springs, CO), saw Mesa Ridge's soccer squad triumph over Sand Creek by a margin of 8-3.
The Grizzlies now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mitchell for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 23. Mesa Ridge will meet a Marauders squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Durango (Durango, CO). The Marauders record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Sand Creek drops to 0-1 on the season. The Scorpions host Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO) to meet the Buffaloes in a non-league test on Saturday, August 20. The Buffaloes come into the test with a record of 0-0.
