In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Burke County Bears softball team scored a nice 17-1 win over the Cross Creek Razorbacks.
Coming up next, the Bears battle the Lincoln County Red Devils (Lincolnton, GA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, August 22. Burke County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Red Devils enter the outing with a 4-2 record after their 9-6 non-league loss to Putnam County (Eatonton, GA).
The Razorbacks (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Harlem (Harlem, GA). The Bulldogs enter the 3A Region 4 outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, Harlem ran past Greenbrier (Evans, GA), 11-3, in a non-league outing.
