The Kilgore Bulldogs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Hawkins Hawks to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arp for a non-league game on Friday, August 19. Kilgore will meet a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ore City (Ore City, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 10-4.
The Hawks (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Leverett's Chapel (Leverett's Chapel, TX). The Lions enter the non-league game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Leverett's Chapel was nudged by Harmony (Big Sandy, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
