In Thursday's non-league contest, the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears (San Juan, TX) volleyball squad knocked off the host Palmview Lobos (La Joya, TX), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Bears battle the Los Fresnos Falcons (Los Fresnos, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 18. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 10-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Rowe (McAllen, TX).
