Texas High School Volleyball - Southlake Carroll edged by Wakeland

The Wakeland Wolverines held off the visiting Southlake Carroll Dragons volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Wolverines now have a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Flower Mound for a non-league test on Thursday, August 18. Wakeland will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Guyer (Denton, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-3.

The Dragons (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Tyler Legacy (Tyler, TX). The Raiders enter the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Tyler Legacy was nudged by Wylie (Wylie, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
