The Blanchester Wildcats football team (Blanchester, OH), was beaten 35-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Paint Valley Bearcats (Bainbridge, OH)

The Bearcats (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against West Jefferson (West Jefferson, OH). The Roughriders come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, West Jefferson achieved victory over Worthington Christian (Worthington, OH), 16-12, in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Batavia for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 25. Blanchester will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 46-12 non-league loss to Williamsburg (Williamsburg, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
