California High School Football - Buchanan victorious over St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Buchanan Bears football squad scored a good 38-18 victory over the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 25. Buchanan will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 20-14 non-league win over Golden Valley (Merced, CA).

The Warriors (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Muir (Pasadena, CA). The Mustangs enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Muir was toppled by Northview (Covina, CA), 41-6, in a non-league match.
