In Friday's league match, the host Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy football squad scored a big 56-19 victory over the Burke Cougars.

In their next game, the clash with the Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 25. Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
