The Claiborne Academy Rebels football team (Haynesville, LA), was tipped 44-42 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Franklin Academy Cougars (Winnsboro, LA)
The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Tallulah Academy (Tallulah, LA). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Tallulah Academy was tipped by Riverdale Academy (Coushatta, LA), 20-12, in a non-league challenge.
The Rebels now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hillcrest Christian for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 25. Claiborne Academy will meet a Cougars team coming off a 36-0 non-league loss to Wilkinson County Christian Academy (Woodville, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 0-2.
