    • California High School Football - El Rancho sneaks past Don Lugo

    August 18, 2023: Chino, CA 91710

    The El Rancho Dons football squad scored 38 points and restricted the host Don Lugo Conquistadores to 35 in the Dons non-league victory on Friday.

    The Dons now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bell Gardens for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 24. El Rancho will face a Lancers squad coming off a 40-14 non-league win over Sierra Vista (Baldwin Park, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 1-0.

    Coming up next, the Conquistadores face the Los Osos Grizzlies (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 25. Don Lugo will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Grizzlies enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 33-13 non-league loss to Summit (Fontana, CA).
