    Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Edison Chargers (Huntington Beach, CA), 38-34 in a non-league test.

    With the triumph, Helix improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA) to battle the Lancers in a non-league test on Friday, August 25. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 0-0.

    With the loss, Edison drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Leuzinger (Lawndale, CA) to battle the Olympians in a non-league test on Friday, August 25. The Olympians come into the test with a record of 1-0. Leuzinger won 33-7 in their recent non-league test against Norco (Norco, CA)
