North Carolina High School Football - Owen drops to Enka

August 18, 2023: Enka, NC 28728

In Friday's non-league game, the Enka Jets (Enka, NC) football team knocked off the visiting Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC), by a score of 37-14.

The Jets (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Pisgah (Canton, NC). The Bears come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Pisgah toppled Brevard (Brevard, NC), 24-10, in a non-league game.

The Warhorses now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host North Buncombe for a non-league game on Friday, August 25. Owen will battle a Black Hawks team coming off a 47-36 non-league win over East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC). The Black Hawks record now stands at 1-0.
