    The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Hudson Explorers (Hudson, OH) and the host Highland Hornets (Medina, OH), observed Hudson's football squad thwart Highland by a tally of 35-21.

    The Explorers now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hoover for a non-league contest on Friday, August 25. Hudson will play a Vikings squad coming off a 27-21 non-league win over Buchtel (Akron, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.
