North Carolina High School Football - South Central topples Kinston

The South Central Falcons (Winterville, NC) football defeated the visiting Kinston Vikings (Kinston, NC), 40-26 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Franklinton Rams (Franklinton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 25. South Central will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 48-0 non-league loss to Apex (Apex, NC).

The Vikings (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC). The Rams enter the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Greene Central defeated North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC), 46-14, in a non-league bout.
