    • Georgia High School Football - Lanier defeats South Forsyth

    August 18, 2023: Sugar Hill, GA 30518

    In Friday's non-league match, the host Lanier Longhorns football squad scored a good 37-20 victory over the South Forsyth War Eagles.

    In their next game, the Longhorns clash with the Peachtree Ridge Lions (Suwanee, GA) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 25. Lanier will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 42-7 non-league win over Seckinger (Buford, GA).

    The War Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Harrison (Kennesaw, GA). The Hoyas enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Harrison ran past South Paulding (Douglasville, GA), 16-6, in a non-league match.
