Ohio High School Football - Mt. Gilead nips Triad

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Mt. Gilead Indians football squad scored a close 15-8 victory over the Triad Cardinals.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Upper Sandusky Rams (Upper Sandusky, OH) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 25. Mt. Gilead will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 42-21 non-league loss to Northmor (Galion, OH).

The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their match against North Union (Richwood, OH). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, North Union was nudged by Pleasant (Marion, OH), 21-15, in a non-league match.
