South Dakota High School Football - Newell crushed by Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven]

In Friday's non-league game, the Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD) football team smashed the visiting Newell Irrigators (Newell, SD), by a final score of 68-30.

The Battlers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Sully Buttes (Onida, SD). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Sully Buttes was ripped by Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD), 42-20, in a non-league challenge.

The Irrigators now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Faith for a Little Moreau (9 Man) challenge on Friday, August 25. Newell will meet a Longhorns team coming off a 26-14 league loss to Dupree (Dupree, SD). The Longhorns record now stands at 0-1.
