Ohio High School Football - Northwest succumbs to Wilmington

The Wilmington Hurricane thwarted the visiting Northwest Knights football team by a count of 28-7 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Wilmington upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hurricane travel to Miami Trace (Washington Courthouse, OH) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, August 25. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Miami Trace won 27-26 in their recent non-league test against Waverly (Waverly, OH)

With the loss, Northwest drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Knights host Indian Hill (Cincinnati, OH) to battle the Braves in a non-league test on Friday, August 25. The Braves come into the test with a record of 0-1. Indian Hill lost 33-20 in their recent non-league test against Roger Bacon (Cincinnati, OH)
