Arizona High School Football - Safford victorious over Payson

August 18, 2023: Payson, AZ 85541

The Safford Bulldogs (Safford, AZ) football overcame the host Payson Longhorns (Payson, AZ), 35-14 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Pima Roughriders (Pima, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 25. Safford will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.

The Longhorns (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Winslow (Winslow, AZ). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Winslow thwarted Window Rock (Fort Defiance, AZ), 42-0, in a league bout.
