Arizona High School Football - Valley Christian routs Tempe

The Valley Christian Trojans football squad scored 44 points and restricted the host Tempe Buffaloes to 2 in the Trojans league victory on Friday.

The Trojans now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Florence for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 26. Valley Christian will face a Gophers squad coming off a 42-28 non-league win over Gilbert Christian (Gilbert, AZ). The Gophers record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Buffaloes face the San Tan Foothills Sabercats (Queen Creek, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 26. Tempe will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Sabercats enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 35-14 non-league loss to Dysart (El Mirage, AZ).
