The crowd at Friday's league test between the Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV) and the host Princeton Tigers (Princeton, WV), saw Cabell Midland's soccer squad knock off Princeton by a margin of 4-1.

The Knights now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to South Charleston for a Mountain State test on Tuesday, August 22. Cabell Midland will meet a Black Eagles squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Ripley (Ripley, WV). The Black Eagles record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Princeton drops to 0-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Nitro (Nitro, WV) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, August 19. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-0. Nitro won 5-1 in their recent non-league test against St. Albans (St. Albans, WV)
