Georgia High School Softball - East Coweta holds off Tattnall Square Academy

August 18, 2023: Sharpsburg, GA 30277

East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Tattnall Square Academy Trojans (Macon, GA), 7-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Stockbridge for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 18. East Coweta will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 17-1 league win over Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Tattnall Square Academy falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Strong Rock Christian (Locust Grove, GA) to battle the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 19. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 2-4. Strong Rock Christian won 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Northgate (Newnan, GA)
