The Grove Ridgerunners softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Quapaw Wildcats to 0 in the Ridgerunners non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Grove improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Ridgerunners host Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK) to clash with the Chieftains in a non-league game on Monday, August 21. The Chieftains come into the game with a record of 7-6.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Jay Bulldogs (Jay, OK) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 19. Quapaw will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the test with a 4-8 record after their 17-1 league win over Vinita (Vinita, OK).
