Utah High School Volleyball - Layton tips Alta

Layton Lancers (Layton, UT) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Alta Hawks (Sandy, UT), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Lancers clash with the American Fork Cavemen (American Fork, UT) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 18. Layton will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Cavemen come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Timpanogos (Orem, UT).

With the loss, Alta drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Union (Roosevelt, UT) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, August 18. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 1-1. Union won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Juan Diego Catholic (Draper, UT)
