The Union Cougars volleyball team (Roosevelt, UT), was nudged 2-1 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Alta Hawks (Sandy, UT)

The Hawks (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bear River (Garland, UT). The Bears enter the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Bear River was nudged by Timpanogos (Orem, UT), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Cedar Valley Aviators (Eagle Mountain, UT) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 19. Union will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Aviators come into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Corner Canyon (Draper, UT).
