The Bishop Lynch Friars held off the visiting Wylie East Raiders volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.

The Friars now have a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host John Paul II for a non-league test on Saturday, August 19. Bishop Lynch will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hillcrest (Dallas, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-4.

The Raiders (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Wilson (Dallas, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 1-4 record.
