With the win, Boyd County upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Lions travel to Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, August 18. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Allen County-Scottsville won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Russellville (Russellville, KY)

The Raiders now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Warren for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 19. Trinity will play a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ohio County (Hartford, KY). The Spartans record now stands at 2-1.
