The Covington Owls volleyball team (Covington, TX), went down 2-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Bullard Panthers (Bullard, TX)

The Panthers (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Sabine (Gladewater, TX). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Sabine defeated Waskom (Waskom, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Owls encounter the Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 19. Covington will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Greenville Christian (Greenville, TX).
