The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY) and the visiting McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY), saw Bullitt East's volleyball squad beat McLean County by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Bullitt East upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Chargers host University Heights (Hopkinsville, KY) to play the Blazers in a non-league bout on Friday, August 18. The Blazers go into the bout with a record of 2-0. University Heights won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Henderson County (Henderson, KY)

The Cougars now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Edmonson County for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 19. McLean County will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Clarksville (Clarksville, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-3.
