The Montezuma-Cortez Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Dolores Bears to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Delta for a non-league game on Saturday, August 26.

The Bears (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Norwood (Norwood, CO). The Mavericks enter the 2A/1A San Juan Basin game with a 0-0 record.
