North Carolina High School Volleyball - Woods Charter over Franklin Academy

August 18, 2023: Chapel Hill, NC 27514

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC) and the visiting Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC), saw Woods Charter's volleyball squad beat Franklin Academy by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Woods Charter upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Wolves host North Moore (Robbins, NC) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, August 21. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-1. North Moore won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC)

The Patriots now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league bout on Monday, August 21. Franklin Academy will play a Huskies squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 2-0.
