The Gainesville Leopards volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Prairiland Patriots to 1 in the Leopards non-league victory on Friday.
The Leopards now possess a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bells for a non-league game on Friday, August 18. Gainesville will meet a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Anna (Anna, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 11-0.
The Patriots (5-10) will now prepare for their game against S & S Consolidated (Sadler, TX). The Rams enter the non-league game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, S & S Consolidated nipped Howe (Howe, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
