In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Granbury Pirates.

The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees (14-0) will now prepare for their battle against Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 9-4 record. In their last match, Birdville beat Permian (Odessa, TX), 2-1, in a non-league match.

With the loss, Granbury drops to 6-11 on the campaign. The Pirates host Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX) to battle the Rangers in a non-league match on Friday, August 18. The Rangers come into the match with a record of 8-5. Chisholm Trail lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Tascosa (Amarillo, TX)
