Texas High School Volleyball - Lone Oak can't hold off Hawley

In Friday's non-league battle, the host Hawley Bearcats volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Lone Oak Buffaloes.

The Bearcats (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Van (Van, TX). The Vandals come into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Van nudged Pine Tree (Longview, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Buffaloes clash with the Cumby Trojans (Cumby, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 18. Lone Oak will attempt to advance on its 6-5 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Prairiland (Pattonville, TX).
