The Hillsboro Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Itasca Wampus Cats to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now have a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Keene for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 22. Hillsboro will meet a Chargers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to YWLA at Arnold (Grand Prairie, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 10-2.

The Wampus Cats (6-7) will now prepare for their game against Venus (Venus, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 0-11 record. In their last game, Venus dropped by Palmer (Palmer, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
