The Mountain Ridge Sentinels were winner over the host Las Vegas Wildcats volleyball squad by a margin of 2-0 in Friday's non-league contest.

Next up, the Sentinels battle the Liberty Patriots (Henderson, NV) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 18. Mountain Ridge will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record.

With the loss, Las Vegas moves to 0-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV) to battle the Longhorns in a 4A Lake contest on Monday, August 21. The Longhorns go into the contest with a record of 5-3. Legacy lost 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Sierra Vista (Las Vegas, NV)
