Texas High School Volleyball - Van over Lone Oak

In Friday's non-league contest, the Van Vandals (Van, TX) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Vandals battle the Hawley Bearcats (Hawley, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 18. Van will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Bearcats come into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX).

With the loss, Lone Oak drops to 6-5 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Greenville Christian (Greenville, TX) to battle the Eagles in a non-league contest on Friday, August 18. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 6-4.
