Texas High School Volleyball - South Grand Prairie tips Nimitz

South Grand Prairie Warriors (Grand Prairie, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Nimitz Vikings (Irving, TX), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Sam Houston Texans (Arlington, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 19. South Grand Prairie will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The Texans come into the match with a 5-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Seguin (Arlington, TX).

With the loss, Nimitz drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Brewer (Fort Worth, TX) to clash with the Bears in a non-league match on Friday, August 18. The Bears come into the match with a record of 3-1. Brewer won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against South Hills (Fort Worth, TX)
