Texas High School Volleyball - Nixon Weslaco East

The Weslaco East Wildcats topped the visiting Nixon Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mission for a non-league test on Saturday, August 19. Weslaco East will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.

The Mustangs (6-5) will now prepare for their test against St. Joseph Academy (Brownsville, TX). The Bloodhounds enter the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, St. Joseph Academy gained a win over Edinburg (Edinburg, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.
