In Friday's non-league contest, the Wimberley Texans (Wimberley, TX) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Nolan Catholic Vikings (Fort Worth, TX), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Texans battle the Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 18. Wimberley will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Sanger (Sanger, TX).

With the loss, Nolan Catholic drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Eastern Hills (Fort Worth, TX) to battle the Highlanders in a non-league contest on Friday, August 18.
