The Yorktown Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Nordheim Pirates to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now have a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ganado for a non-league game on Friday, August 18. Yorktown will meet a Indians team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Brazos (Wallis, TX). The Indians record now stands at 1-6.

The Pirates (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Woodsboro (Woodsboro, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Woodsboro dropped by Jones (Beeville, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
